IPTAMENI and ALBATROS are the 2 teams that advance to the Semi-Finals of the Hellenic National League from the Souther Division. They await the result of the Aris-PAOK game in order to finalize the games of the Semis.
After the end of the regular season and just before the playoffs, IPTAMENI Athens are undefeated having 10 wins in 10 games. The team has proven that despite some significant absences, like the Captain of the National Team and the Iptameni leading scorer the past years, Dimitris Kalyvas, Themistocles Lambridis, Jason Pachos, George Koulele and Panagiotis Iatridis and the trades of George Fiotakis and others, the team has depth and remains the best team in the Greek League. Despite the missing players it remains the best team of all time.
In this year’s Championship, George Kalyvas, Iptameni Captain, is the top scorer after 10 games, having scored 20 goals and 26 assists. He is followed by Orestis Tilios with 21 goals and 18 assists. Another “old-timer” is back having returned after many years of absence, and is none other than Mario Lyberto who has scored 11 goals and 9 assists. He is followed by Lazaros Efkarpidis with 11 goals and 5 assists. Alexandros Valsamas-Rallis, who had started very strong with 7 goals and 4 assists, but then got injured and has been out for 5 games. George Kouleles with 4 goals and 6 assists, the Angelos Tzitzis with 6 goals and 3 assists, Ioannis Koufis with 6 goals and Diogenis Souras with 3 goals and 2 assists. Last but not least, Spyros-Dalibor Ploutsis, goalkeeper of the team and also the main goalkeeper of National Team, with 1 assists.
Regarding Spiros-Dalibors’ duties in nets, he has 13 goals against and has 3 shut-outs in 10 games, the best statistics of all goalkeepers in the Hellenic Championship.
The final scores of the regular season of the 2013 Hellenic National Championship:
